My name is Germaine (Devon), I have been a dedicated firearms instructor for 10 years, I have strived on building foundations that keep people safe and allow them to feel comfortable in the world we live in today.

Mission is to provide everyone with the knowledge, skills, attitude, and confidence regarding the safety, handling, shooting, and storing of firearms and non lethal options.
Programs
Concealed Carry Certification
Depending on the state will determine the number of hours required to complete the course. There is a shooting qualification included as well that we will go over before the actual range shooting. In this course we will teach you how to load, disarm , and the appropriate hand holding of firearms. We do allow students to use our firearms that we have on hand, bring your own, or rent from the range directly.
Home Defense
Home defense is something that we take very seriously here at B.E.T. we believe that everyone should have a safe and accessible way to defend their home and an exit strategy if necessary. In this course we will go through the ins and outs of keeping your home, you, and your family against any threat that may occur.
Refresher Course
Everyone needs a refresher! This is where we brush up on your skills, additional training on matters most important to you and provide you with any additional information you may need regarding your firearm. Your defense and firearm training should not stop after you receive your certification!

Cancellation, Reschedule and Refund Policy
Cancellation Policy-
Students are required to cancel at least 72 hours in advance of a class date to be able to reschedule. Classes cancelled less than 48 hours before the class will charged a $20 cancellation fee. There is no canceling within 24 hours of your class. If you cancel within 24 hours there is $ 40 cancellation fee.
Reschedule Policy-
If you need to reschedule your class it must be done 72 hours before and you will eligible to reschedule up to 30 days without penalty. If you need to reschedule your class 48 hours before the class you can be transferred into another class date with a $20 rescheduling fee. There is no rescheduling within 24 hours of your class. If you try reschedule within 24 hours then you forfeit your seat and will be charged $40 rescheduling fee.
Refund Policy-
ALL BYRD'S EYE TACTICAL (B.E.T) TRAINING CLASSES ARE NONREFUNDABLE

To obtain a Florida Concealed Weapon License, you must be 21 years of age or older and display competency with a firearm. You must currently reside in the US and be a US Citizen or permanent resident alien. If you are deployed with the Military, you must submit a copy of your deployment documentation with your application. If you are a permanent resident alien, you must provide your Permanent Resident Alien card.
The initial fee for a Florida Concealed Weapon License for residents and non-residents is $102 which includes a $42 fingerprint processing fee and a $60 initial license fee. Renewals for residents cost $50 and for non-residents is $92 which includes a $42 fingerprint processing fee. The cost is $15 to obtain a revised or duplicate copy of your Florida Concealed Weapon License. There is no $42 fingerprint processing fee for Active Florida Law Enforcement Officers. If you are a Florida Law Enforcement Officer that has retired within a year, there are no initial fees. If you have been retired for more than one year, the initial fee is $72 which includes a $40 fingerprint processing fee and a $30 initial license fee. Renewals for all retired Florida Law Enforcement Officers cost $30.
Florida Concealed Weapon or Firearm Licenses that were issued on or after June 11, 2008, are valid for seven years.
Florida Concealed Weapon or Firearm Licenses that were issued before June 11, 2008, are only valid for five years.
